Not all guilds are displayed here, nor are roleplaying hubs.
The list is frequently updated to avoid the mention of inactive guilds.
Guilds not currently recruiting are not displayed here either.

Keep in mind, although megaservers exist, these do not allow people from NA to meet with people from EU, and vice versa.Although you can communicate in ways other than /say, /map and /emote, you cannot have your characters meet up with each other.
Having your characters be physically near each other is typically a requirement for roleplay in GW2.If you have found a guild you are interested in, but they are on NA and you on EU, or vice versa, and if different timezones are of no problem to you and the functioning of the guild, your options are:
- purchase a transfer, which allows you to keep your characters
- delete all characters and move your account free of charge
- purchase a second account on a desirable server
- use a second, F2P account (free but limited)
General info
① Locations of guilds in the list can change - newer ones can be found at the bottom
② The pages are updated with checks on activity, and when new guilds are added
③ Size of a guild is subject to change - I've seen several guilds grow immensely!
④ People don't always have the same idea of size for RP guilds, however I go by:

⑤ Yes - even people by themselves are encouraged to advertise a guild
⑥ Guilds without contact info are required to have a website for contact
What to expect
① Guilds advertising crawl to top - this lasts for 70 days after advertisement
② Guilds advertising more recently are placed above earlier advertisers
③ Removed guilds will have their info saved - I'll gladly add you again
④ Guilds unwilling to be added, will not be added. I respect this choice
⑤ I look for guilds advertised on the forum, and some discord hubs
(I may be late at times - feel free to reach out on advertising!)
⑥ Despite my presence in discord hubs, I do not advertise these
⑦ I do not keep track of what goes on with guilds outside of this list
⑧ I am not responsible for what goes on in guilds I am not leader of
⑨ I will however work to keep the community free from harassment
⑩ Being added is entirely free of charge - do not hesitate to reach out
Rules for joining
① Be active - this means you actively RP in game, with the theme in your description
② Be open to having new members - this is not a showcase, but a connecting service
③ Be accepting of the fact I'll reach out to you about every 50 days to check in with you
Rules for activity
① No response for 20 days after me reaching out, means your guild gets removed
② Removed guilds do not get their previous position returned - they start at the bottom
Explanation for columns
(especially useful for guilds)
Name - The guild's name as is displayed in-game
Tag - The guild's name as is displayed in-game
About - The identity of a guild in 10 words or less
Theme - The core of the guild, what it's all about
Type of RP - How the theme of the guild is executed
Age - Minimum age one is required to join this guild
Triggers - Why a guild chose this age requirement*
Size - The amount of active players joining for events
Discord - Discord username for the guild's representative
In-game - GW2 account or character name for the guild's representative
Link - Outgoing link to a website or discord to learn more about the guild*This column will be introduced at the beginning of May. Any feedback is welcome.
Explanation for the abbreviations to be used are as follows:

| S | Sex | Conspicuous innuendos, physical intimacy |
| V | Violence | Physical abuse, blood, gore, medical processes |
Though themes as stated above may be present in a guild's RP, keep in mind:
● This list serves to aid people in finding a comfortable guild
● These themes don't have to exist past mention of them
● Players are not encouraged to exploit themes they encounter
● Listing a point does not obligate a guild to explore it to the fullest
● Keep trigger points within settings where all have consented - GW2 is 13+
